To add a Milesight gateway using auto-provisioning you need to:

• enable auto-provisioning on the gateway: if you have just purchased your gateway it is activated by default, otherwise see below
• add the gateway from the Device Explorer Gateways menu

Here is the window to add the gateway. Choose the manufacturer Milesight and fill in the information.

SG50 gateway

In the gateway service menu:

• Activate auto-provisioning
• Deactivate the Management Platform

After the gateway is automatically added to Device Explorer, the Packet Forwarder menu will show the destination will be Basic Station and the “Connected” indication will appear
